Tropical Clown Fish
[menus/top-google.htm]
Clown Fairy Wrasse - found over a wide range of the
Pacific Ocean. A colorful and active addition to your reef aquarium,
the Clown Fairy needs a sand substrate with some depth, as they bury
themselves to sleep or hide. Also requires live rock for feeding and
shelter. A carnivore, they need a “meaty” diet. A tri-colored fish
discovered by Bleeker in 1851, it is a brilliant combination of
blue, red and green, with a whitish underside. Likes an aquarium of
saltwater that is 50-gallons or larger, and plant life to hide
under. Peaceful with other fish, the males are territorial within
their own species. Compatible with other wrasses and saltwater fish.
Grows to 5”.

Orange Skunk Clown Fish - a native of the Indian Ocean,
although mostly tank-raised commercially, it is also known as the
Anemone Fish. A bright orange with horizontal white stripe from the
mouth to tail, and transparent fins, this active and engaging fish
is one of the more popular saltwater species for hobbyists. While
they do well in small groups, a dominant pair will emerge at some
point, with the female growing the largest, the male next largest,
and the rest of the group, remaining largely undeveloped in size.
Peaceful with most saltwater species, they are territorial with most
other clownfish. Requires a saltwater aquarium of 50-gallons or
more, and is safe to have with a live reef. Grows to 4”.
Tomato Clown Fish - another Clown Fish which goes by the name
Anemone Fish. A native of the Pacific Ocean, first discovered by
Brevoort in 1856. As the name suggests, their coloration is a bright
tomato red/orange, with a dark patch on the body, and a single,
vertical white stripe behind the eye. Their hardiness, and
personality make them great favorites of saltwater hobbyists.
Peaceful within their own group, or other species of saltwater
tropical fish, they are territorial with other Clown Fish. They like
an aquarium of 50-gallons or more, and can be kept with live rock
and various substrates. Females are typically the largest of the
species. Grows to 6”.
Sebae Clown Fish - a native of the Indian Ocean, first
discovered by Bleeker in 1853. This charming addition to your
saltwater aquarium comes in black, with yellow highlights on the
face, underside and tail, and with two wide, vertical white stripes.
Favored for their hardiness and activity level, they like an
aquarium of 50-gallons ore more. While they can be kept in small
groups, a dominant male and female will emerge at some point, with
the female growing the largest, the male next largest, and the rest
of the group, remaining largely undeveloped in size. Peaceful with
most saltwater species, they are territorial with most other
clownfish. A good choice for the new hobbyist. Safe with live rock.
