pH Level for Your Fish

[menus/top-google.htm]

The wastes in the aquarium water can effect the pH level for your fish. And the important thing to remember is that fish are usually accustomed to a certain pH level -- and they don't survive well with great variations, so monitor your tank every week or two.

pH Facts:
> The pH scale goes from 0-14
> 1 is acidic
> 7 is neutral
> 14 alkaline
> Freshwater fish need a pH between approximately 6.5 - 7.5 (but check for your species requirements first. We recommend the Tropical Fishlopaedia to help you determine what your fish need)
